Cyclades is an epic, tense and lively game that is easy to understand. Each player leads their faction to impose their hegemony on the Cyclades isles in the time of a fantasy mythological Greece. Players will place bets to gain the gods favors, hire creatures and heroes to achieve their goals. Thanks to a smooth and intuitive gameplay, epic actions follow one another at a fast pace. Simple rules and a clear iconography allow for a quick immersion in the game for beginners. Fans of the first edition of Cyclades will rediscover this legendary game with brand new eyes thanks to gameplay modifications and numerous improvements added by its two successful authors.
More than just an aesthetic facelift, Cyclades Legendary Edition takes the original game to a whole new level. The Director's cut by Bruno Cathala and Ludovic Maublanc combines the original game and its many expansions into a renewed, more epic, more thrilling gaming experience through an updated gameplay.
Among the major changes :
3 game configurations:
- A "Classic" mode for 3 to 5 players in which each player defends their own interests
- A "Teamplay" mode for 4 or 6 players, offering the possibility to play as teams of 2, mixing cooperation between teammates and confrontation against opponents.
- An enhanced and improved “2-players” mode
A modular game board is now built with landscape tiles assembled by the players during the setup of the game, allowing for everchanging maps and game strategies, bringing a constantly renewed gaming experience
- 6 gods instead of the 5 originals are now available, increasing players variety of actions
- New free mandatory construction actions for the gods that considerably speed up the overall game time and the interaction between players
- Mercenaries, a new unit that comes with the new goddess: Hera, who enforces your troops during battles.
- New Creatures and Heroes are now available in the base game and have been reworked to offer new strategic opportunities in building metropolises and gaining decisive advantages on the battlefield.
- Shorter and more dynamic bidding phases thanks to a new exponential bidding scale.
- The new metropolis system provides for bonuses that will boost your assets.
- All gaming elements and illustrations have been redesigned by the original artist Miguel Coimbra.

If you change your mind, you may return your item within 7 days of purchase. A 20% restocking fee and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

In the Cyclades archipelago, off the shores of a divided Greece, players develop their cities and compete for supremacy under the watchful gaze of the gods. In Cyclades: Legendary Edition, designers have reworked the Cyclades base game and its many expansions to make gameplay more dynamic and fluid. The game features a strategic bidding system that defines the actions available to each player on their turn. You must balance your finances to optimize the various actions provided by the different gods, with each player gaining the support of only one god each turn. The game features a shorter and more dynamic bidding phase than the original Cyclades thanks to a new exponential bidding scale. Six gods are available instead of the five, increasing the variety of actions available. Players now use landscape tiles to assemble the modular game board during set-up, allowing for ever-changing maps and game strategies. New creatures and heroes are available in the base game, offering new strategic opportunities to build metropolises and gain decisive advantages on the battlefield. Your goal is to be the first to control three metropolises. Cyclades: Legendary Edition features three game configurations: "Classic" mode for 3-5 players in which each player defends their own interests. "Team" mode for 4 or 6 players in which you play in teams of two, co-operating with one another and competing against others. An enhanced and refined two-player mode.
