Tsuro: Phoenix Rising is a board game from Calliope Games, designed by Ken Franklin and Tom McMurchie (2019). It plays 2–8 players in 20–50 minutes, for ages 8+. BoardGameGeek players rate it 6.3 out of 10 and call it medium-light (2.2 / 5 weight).
In Tsuro: Phoenix Rising, an exhilarating new entry in the classic Tsuro series, each player is a phoenix, soaring across the board in an effort to reach glowing lanterns and transform them into new stars in the night sky. The first player to collect seven star tokens wins the game!
Tsuro: Phoenix Rising builds upon the foundation of classic Tsuro you must play tiles to extend your path, traverse the board, and be aware of your surroundings. It also adds exciting new features such as double-sided path tiles that allow for diagonal movement and can be flipped and rotated to choose your destination, as well as a revolutionary new molded board. As a phoenix, you also have the astounding ability to rise from the ashes and return to the board once per game!
Tsuro: Phoenix Rising™ is two games in one, with an advanced ruleset giving players an even more tactical, strategic experience.

By placing a pre-order with Wulf Gaming, you agree to these terms:
- Paid in full up front. The price at checkout is final; we don't offer price matches or adjustments.
- Trading card pre-orders: can be canceled before release for a 10% cancellation fee, and can't be canceled once released.
- All other pre-orders (board games, accessories and more) can be canceled with no fee.
- Address changes: contact support at least 24 hours before the estimated release date.
- Orders ship together. If your order has in-stock and pre-order items, it ships when everything is available. Order in-stock items separately to get them sooner.
- Release dates are manufacturer estimates and can change without notice.
- In-store pickup: we hold pre-orders for 14 days once they're ready. Orders not picked up are canceled and refunded (minus a 10% fee for trading card products).
- Quantity limits: getting around a limit (for example, with multiple orders) means we cancel the extra quantity with a 10% fee.
Returns (non-trading card items):
Return sealed, unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery (or 30 days of purchase in store). There's no restocking fee. You cover return shipping unless you added free returns to your order.
Trading cards:
All trading card sales are final, including sealed product and singles.
Damaged or incorrect items:
Submit a claim through our Customer Help Center within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We'll send a replacement at no cost, or a full refund if it's out of stock.
Package protection:
Add package protection in your cart to cover lost, stolen or damaged packages, including trading cards.
